Healthier BeaverTails

I saw a pin on Pinterest about making pizza dough with just self-raising flour and Greek yogurt. So, I thought…smaller scale, frying pan, cinnamon-sugar. A completely natural divergence obviously.

Healthy BeaverTail:

1/4 c self-raising flour
1/4 c plain greek yogurt
Cooking spray for pan

In a medium bowl, combine flour and Greek yogurt until it comes together. Remove from bowl and knead a bit until it forms a cohesive ball. If it’s too sticky to handle, dust with a bit more flour.

Roll or flatten with hands until about 1/4 inch thick.

Fry over medium heat in non-stick pan sprayed liberally with cooking spray. Cook both sides, flipping once, until golden brown.

Remove from heat and top with your favorite BeaverTail topping. I did cinnamon and powdered sugar. But only because I didn’t have maple butter.
